Selena Gomez puts her two cents into what she has to say about how Miley is finally coming to the end of Hannah Montana.

From MTV - Fellow Disney star Selena Gomez said her colleague is just ready to move on to bigger and more mature things, even if her fans will feel the void left by her decision to end the show.

"I think that she's growing with the show, and I think it's such a great platform for her," Gomez told MTV News, adding that she has yet to talk to Cyrus about her post-"Hannah Montana" plans. "And she's lived up to it as wonderfully as she could, and I think she continues to carry it, but she's ready for other things."

Selena Gomez: Miley Cyrus Ready to Move On From 'Hannah Montana'

Selena Gomez has shared on how Miley Cyrus is dealing with the end of "Hannah Montana". In a recent interview with MTV, the Alex Russo of "Wizards of Waverly Place" stated that her fellow Disney star is ready to move on with other projects following announcement that the fourth season of "Hannah Montana" will be the series finale.

"I think that she's growing with the show, and I think it's such a great platform for her," the 17-year-old songstress told the publication. Although she admitted that she has yet to talk to Cyrus about plans after "Hannah", the "Princess Protection Program" actress stated, "And she's lived up to it as wonderfully as she could, and I think she continues to carry it, but she's ready for other things."





Miley Cyrus herself has expressed her desire to be involved in more mature motion picture projects. In an interview for the February issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, the star of "The Last Song" revealed that she wants "to do edgier movies". The 17-year-old actress added she wants to do "movies where you walk away feeling fulfilled."





While time for the Hannah Montana depicter to move on is closing in, Selena Gomez stated that her character, Alex Russo, is still evolving. " 'Wizards of Waverly Place' is getting much more mature in terms of our comedy, [but] we are still keeping the youthfulness of our characters," she shared. "I just feel like we're all kind of growing, so the characters are evolving."
